About
OUR MISSION
Established in 2014, The Jeff Cohen Charitable Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit devoted to making a positive difference in Plymouth and the surrounding South Shore communities. Our primary focus is to raise funds for those who need it most. Whether it be that they are in need of financial support from suffering a great loss, providing financial relief to someone as they go through their cancer treatments or financially supporting the hardships of a life saving surgical procedure. We are always looking for new donors, and sponsors to get involved with the JCCF by helping us make a difference in our community!
How the Foundation Started
The concept of the foundation began in 2001 when Jeff was approached to donate money to a fund that was in place to help fallen firefighters families. The Halloween Party became a Halloween Benefit that Year. The event raised $1,000 that year, and each and every year since it has increased...to the most current Halloween Benefit which raised $62,000 in 2022. Jeff was already involved with the community, but this started to bring everything to a new level. That same year (2001) the inception of the Boys and Girls Club of Plymouth's “Annual Valentine's Ball” was born. The first year they raised $12,000, thanks to the committee of volunteers. By the time the Seventh Annual Valentine's Ball came around, the foundation raised over $75,000 in charitable donations that evening, for a total of $250,000 over the seven years.
In 2005 we were recognized by The South Shore Community Action Council as a local hero; Jeff was selected to receive a citation from the Mass Senate, Congress, and the House of Representatives for their charitable endeavors. With an incredible volunteer committee by his side, they began to make a huge difference on the South Shore. Coralee Burke of "To The Max Events" , who is also the co-chair for many of the Jeff Cohen Charitable events, was there to represent the foundation and accept their commendations. These awards would not be possible without Coralee Burke and the committees who were also crucial in the formation of the Jeff Cohen Charitable Foundation! Over the years the cause has gained great recognition.
Jeff has been involved in many local organizations and charities including the Boys & Girls Club, the Plymouth YMCA, and Special Olympics. Jeff is currently the Vice President of the Rotary Club of Plymouth, after being a member for over 20 years. Jeff is a hobbyist photographer, loves to read, and loves to travel. He is the father of Chelsey Cohen who is the Marketing Director of One Stop and is also involved with the foundation. He is also "dad" to his dog Lola.

We believe all women can embrace who they are,
